Courtesy Corps is an essential part of the smooth running of such the State FFA Convention. Please read the following information that explains Courtesy Corps sign up procedure and duties of participants. After reading this information, please download & submit the Courtesy Corp application before April 4th.  Contact Mr. Kent Benson with any questions regarding Courtesy Corps.

Courtesy Corps Orientation Meeting Thursday 4:30 pm upstairs in room 306.

The Courtesy Corps Check In/Information Table - hallway outside Ballroom A There will be a attendant at the table beginning Thursday at 6:00 p.m. When checking in you will be given a arm band and any other necessary items. At the end of your service please sign out and return armbands and other items.

Duties at Stations A. Proficiency Interview Table
Check in at table in the Marriott Meeting room area where proficiency interviews are conducted with Kent Benson. Sign in State Proficiency finalist, escort finalist to interview waiting room. Escort finalist to “on deck waiting chair”. Manage noise control in the hallway.

Parliamentary Procedure – Check in at the table in the Marriott meeting room area.
Report to Trisha Lastly. Secure doors so that guests do not enter during team presentations. Manage waiting room. Manage noise in hallway.

Career Show Lunch Distribution – Meet at the stage area in the career show.
FFA members will be instructed by Casey Shumate. Box lunches will be handed out to all career show presenters.

Career Show Clean Up (AREA OFFICERS) – Check in with Todd Teasley in the Career Show at the stage area. Your assignment is to circulate through the career show offering assistance to presenters to help take booths down, transport equipment and supplies out to the parking lot.

General Sessions – Meet at the Courtesy Corps table to receive arm bands and flashlights. Locations in main conference area will be designated. Courtesy Corp members are to assist guests in finding seats, lighting pathways, directing dignitaries to special seating, controlling noise and traffic. 

Registration Desk – Check in at Courtesy Crops table, then report to Ricky Wheeler at the registration desk in the upper arena lobby. Assist at the desk

Agri-Science Fair – Check in at the Courtesy Corps table, then report to Monument Room and check in with Mrs. Melissa Riley or Mrs. Christa Steinkamp.
