Emmanuel College
Emmanuel University’s Master of Education in Elementary Education offers certified teachers an opportunity to deepen their instructional expertise and broaden their certification through optional endorsement pathways, including an Elementary Agriculture Education endorsement. As part of the graduate program rooted in a Christian worldview, qualified candidates can complete core advanced coursework alongside a focused 9-hour endorsement sequence—allowing educators with certification in either elementary or agriculture education to add specialized pedagogy for teaching agriculture to young learners (P-5) and expand their professional qualifications.

Okefenokeee RESA

The Okefenokee RESA Elementary Agriculture Endorsement prepares certified educators to teach agriculture content to students in Pre-K through 5th grade. This Georgia Professional Standards Commission-approved endorsement consists of two graduate-level courses tailored to the candidate’s background: one focusing on agricultural content or child development and another on instructional methods for elementary agriculture education. Successful completion adds the Elementary Agriculture endorsement to a Georgia teaching certificate, expanding a teacher’s skill set and certification to include agriculture instruction at the elementary level.

Admission Requirements:
• Currently employed in a school system.
• Possess a valid, Level 4 or higher Professional certificate in Elementary Education (P-5) or Agriculture Education (6-12).
• Recommendation from the school principal and Professional Learning Coordinator.

UGA
The University of Georgia Elementary Agriculture Education Endorsement (P-5) allows educators to add a Georgia Professional Standards Commission-approved elementary agriculture endorsement to their teaching certificate. Offered as both a non-degree endorsement and an undergraduate minor, the program prepares candidates to teach agriculture concepts to Pre-K through 5th-grade students through coursework focused on agricultural content, child development, and instructional methods. The endorsement can be completed by certified teachers or integrated into an undergraduate degree program, with successful completion noted on both the Georgia teaching certificate and the UGA transcript.
